Yeah i agree with admin. Forget that poverty leads to crime thing lol, if that were true there would be more criminals than poor people lol. People become criminals because because the criminal lifestyle glamarized. Our entertainment tells us that crime pays, in this country its starting to look like it does. It easier to sell weed and be a gangsta than to follow the rules, educate themselves and work 9 to 5. They dont like rules, some people lazy and selfish, but smart too.

Do u know there is a difference between the Beetam and Laventille....
The Beetham is consider the place only of robbers... easy access to the dump and highway traffic
Laventille is consider the place of blood shed... most gang members.... guns etc

This was told to me by a Police Officer!!!!!

Yeah crime has its... flavours. Alot of the crimes in Diego are gang related but not drug related, so you'd find alot of people from other places showin up there causing trouble and stuff people assumed it was and overall increase in crime like trafficking and robbery but what it really was was an increase in gang warfare and shootings.

lol ^ I listen to metal sometimes even death metal but i know i wont listen to certain songs that have messages that conflict with my standards. There's alot of violent stuff i hear i but i never get myself delusional to the point of doing the crap they say. I even listen to movado but some songs i wont even touch lol. I used to listen to gangsta music, before it was all about the struggle, the realities of poverty and life in the lower income bracket. Now it's commercialised overhyped nonsense supporting the criminal lifestyle, alot of it is at such a lower standard.
Most popular entertainment is sex and violence.
And its only popular because its in such great people like it, they like shooting people and taking drugs, they like being sexually promiscus. Music only reinforces their twisted views and intentions. It's like what eminem said in is song criminal he cant make you take a gun and shoot someone, lol, someone actually killed his girlfriend like in STAN and blamed in on eminem. Guess what in didn't stand up in court.. most people are criminals because they insist on being criminals.

We all know that there are corrupted police officers in the government service... But did you all know that there is a Department called the Police Complaints Authority where one can actually lodge a complaint about these police officers for not doing there job....I heard that many officers were suspended and even fired for corruption.. So those who don't know, spread the word around...

You only hear about the ones who get multiple charges and have big court cases. If is just suspension for internal matters or for laziness you wont get much info. Cuz the media only like big stories, the higher ranks or more people involved the more likely it'll make news.

People like that give up cepep cuz is too much work. lol. I could never understand why some people does take jobs like that and they not willing to do nothing for nobody. Just like some of the nurses in de hospitals, they just they to collect pay check. People saying maybe security guards should be inducted into the police force but some ah dem need some serious licks. lol. I mean why they taking ah badge and a uniform for. Just to look good? Some dam weird lookin, the only people in uniform like that and dont protect people is male strippers! Too bad you cant sue people for not fulfilling thier moral obligations. I find they should pass laws to ensure that they are more actively involved... instead of just posing and... scaring young children.

Vigilantes tend to end up dead in a ditch somewhere. In reality most gang members are vigilantees, they defend their communities from what they perceive to be unwanted influences. "The dark knight" is a good movie on vigilantism, so is one called "the boondock saints" "the brave one" is another good movie that supports it.
I will never support vigilanteism. There's no distinction between a serial killer killing murderers (dexter) and a vigilante killing or fighting " law breakers"
Superheroism is a cool concept but it has no place in reality. Real heroes are ordinary people doing their civic and moral duties... regardless to what anyone else may think. People who do the right thing regardless of circumstances and even at great personal losses will always have greater impacts than delusional men with superhero complexes...
Caring for your fellow man and promoting good is the only safe route to take.

Kevin if the Ministry of National Security publish the names of officer's who are suspended wouldn't it look bad on the government side? I don't think PM Patrick Manning would like that ... Jus remember five years is not too far...They would do anything not to look bad and remain in power.
