First of all, are you talkin about work or home? If its work then its not Vista. Its your IT department not granting you access to those types of websites. Vista is very stable right now since service pack 1and service pack two is currently available. It seems to me like ur relatively new to Vista. Take some time to get to know the OS before you knock it. Vista supports all those things you mentioned. Vista has nothing to do with youtube videos not playing. Just install the relevant plugins for you web browser.. I think you need to get more familiar with it before you start posting stuff like that..lol..but should you need any sort of help or clarification on the matter you can ask anyone in the forums. (computers section).

tru admin..Vista got bad reputation. yes there were driver issues and incompatablity when it first launched. Yes the OS crashed because of buggy drivers..but that was in the start. Since Service pack 1, Vista was on par and even exeeded XP in certain situations.. Games were running just as good on Vista as XP. Yes Vista is a resource hog..NO doubt.. But beyond that, Vista is better than XP. People cling to things they are familiar with (XP). plus the negative reputation that Vista got hurt in the adoption rate. Most ppl hating on Vista have never really given the OS a fair chance. Files and documents were alot easier to find. Built in search in the start menu finds anything. You can even control the indexing of the OS... It has alot more built in safety than XP. It is more secure, and it troubleshoots itself. And even resolves problems automatically. there are alot more tools available for troubleshooting. Even the simple "task manager" utility is more efficient. You can actually see what program or application a "process" belongs to. Try figuring out which application "dwm.exe or crss.exe" processes are linked to when using the task manager in XP?. And the list goes on. I have never had a problem really with Vista. And I was running Vista Ultimate 64bit..not one problem. Stop hating on Microsoft.
